This workshop is designed to provide transparency for candidates who plan to take the entry level BEI evaluation. Elements of the test will be contextualized through a very brief history of the BEI development process.

Topics will also include the Test of English Proficiency, as well as the components of the performance evaluation including Expressive Interpreting, Expressive Transliterating, Receptive, and Sight Translation. While this is NOT a skill-building workshop, participants will learn about each portion of the evaluation and will be given ample time to ask questions.
