Most interpreters cringe at the idea of filing taxes and potentially owing a large sum in April. There are several things you can do at the end of the year to increase tax savings this spring. During this workshop participants will learn the most common ways to reduce their taxable income. I will also reveal how to easily calculate an estimated tax liability to ensure readiness for April 15th.
This workshop is intended for working interpreters, interpreting students and allies who are interested in improving the profession of interpreting. This workshop will be taught at the beginning level and assumes participants have little knowledge of this topic.
